I’m home now for “fall break” (if 2 days can really count as a break). I’m hoping to get some work done on the thesis, though tomorrow I’m spending most of the day driving my sisters around: one back to college, the other to see her boyfriend. Loads of fun.
So far I’ve spent most of my time home doing nothing — which is good. I watched Return of the Jedi off of the new DVDs, and I was pretty impressed. Although they added Hayden Christansen as Anakin and added a Naboo sequence @ the end, I didn’t see much different from the original/special edition. I’ll admit it looks alot cleaner than the VHSes that I have laying around. Kudos to the guys who did that.
I got an email yesterday containing a draft for one of the patent submissions I had back at EB — it’s pretty exciting to say that I’m going to have a patent application. Who knows, maybe it’ll actually go through. It’s cool to put on a resume though.
Speaking of which, anybody ever worked for Lockheed Martin? I interviewed with them this past week and I’m curious what kind of company they are.
