Been a bit since a serious update. It’s been an interesting few months.
Finally been given an ultimate date for the IBM job offer I have: January 15. It’s coming up way too quickly. I wish I had some other options — right now Lockheed Martin and another division with IBM may be interested. DC, Boston, or Raleigh? Hmm. That’s a tough one. At this point, I think I’d rather work for IBM.
Classes start tomorrow for me. It should be an interesting semester. Outside of my thesis that I need to finish, everything else is icing on the cake — I have all the credits I need. I really want to get the thing done with, and Tino’s behind me to just finish it and get past it. Which is helpful, ’cause he’s pretty smart. The rest of my classes are ones I picked because I’m interested in them, which is very exciting. It’s doubly exciting because it’s spring semester of senior year. I graduate in a little over 3 months. It’s a crazy thought. Right now my main goal is to stay focused and finish off strong.
Outside of school though, not much going on. Xmas was fun with the family — it’s always good to see them and they seem to be fully transitioned at the new home and are in their respective grooves. I’m happy for them, especially since we’ve moved so much. It looks like they won’t be going anywhere for awhile. I enjoyed the simple Xmas and New Years this year — nothing major, just hanging out.
Maybe I’ll travel a bit this semester and visit some peoples. Anybody want to be on the list? Lemme know.
